Inspired by snippets of childhood memories, half remembered - half imagines, Lily Jayne Senner's work explores the tension between reality and unreality. The resultant images are ambiguous and psychological, welcoming the viewer into its dreamscape, encouraging individual self reflection. Lily's process is anchored in the drawings, they are starting points for larger works and often the more experimental works. Lily's work often references graphic and illustrative art, utilising synthetic vibrant colours and stylised figuration.
